Isaiah 60 Ministries

Arise Shine

Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. (Isaiah 60:1-3)

Preparing Christians for End-Time Ministry

We are now in the preTribulation period that Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows.”

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7-8)

This is a time of intensifying light and deepening darkness.

Sin must attain its fullness before Jesus can return to eradicate sin and set up His millennial Kingdom on Earth

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king [i.e. the antiChrist] shall arise, having fierce features, who understands sinister schemes. (Daniel 8:23)

Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. (Daniel 9:24)

God is in the process of removing His hand of restraint, allowing the deep darkness of Isaiah 60:2 to spread:

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. (2Thessalonians 2:7)

The ‘He‘ is not the church as some suppose, because the church is always referred to as ‘she‘ – it is God’s hand of restraint that is being removed

God is calling upon Christians to Arise and Shine and become that light shining within the increasing darkness
