Healing Scriptures


Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed.  (Jeremiah 17:14)

He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.  (Matthew 8:17)

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 42:5, 1Peter 2:24)

And these signs will follow those who believe… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:15)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1John 5:14-15)


Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows(Isaiah 53:4)

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preachgood tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound… to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. (Isaiah 61:1-3)

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1Peter 5:7)


Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

Put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:22-24)

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.  (2Corinthians 10:4-5)


A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. (Proverbs 17:22)

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. (Proverbs 16:24)

A sound heart is the life of the flesh; but envy is the rottenness of the bones. (Proverbs 14:30)

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it (hope) is the tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  (Jeremiah 29:11)

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.  (Hebrews 6:19)


Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’… For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.  (Matthew 31-33)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.  (2Timothy 1:7)

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment(1John 4:18)

In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me(Psalm 56:11)

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell(Matthew 10:28)


Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)

Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us(Hebrews 12:1)


Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing(James 1:2-4)

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy(1Peter 4:12-13)


But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control(Galatians 5:22-23)


Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor; and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing(1Corinthians 13:1-3)

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1Corinthians 13:4-9)

Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:38-39)

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.  This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.  (Mark 12:30-31)

I (Jesus) say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you(Luke 6:27-28)


In Your Presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore(Psalm 16:11)

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.


You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength(Isaiah 26:3)

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:7)


For all the promises of God in Him (Jesus) are Yea, and in Him, Amen(2Corinthians 1:20)

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance(2Peter 3:9)

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise(Hebrews 10:36)

And this is the promise that He has promised useternal life(1John 2:25)

He Himself (Jesus) has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper, I will not fear.  What can man do to me?”  (Hebrews 13:5-6)

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty… a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near youno evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling(Psalm 91:1,7,10)

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose(Romans 8:28)

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen  (Ephesians 3:20-21).


As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.  (2Samuel 22:31)

But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them(Psalm 5:11)

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength in whom I will trust(Psalm 18:2)

And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him(Psalm 37:40)


Death and life are in the power of the tongue(Proverbs 18:21)

I (God) have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

He who has a perverse tongue, falls into evil(Proverbs 17:20)

The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity.  The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell(James 3:6)


Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.  (Nehemiah 8:10)

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.  (Isaiah 40:31)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me(Philippians 4:13)

My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness(2Corinthians 12:9)


Judge not that you be not judged.  For with what judgments you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you(Matthew 7:2)

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another, you condemn yourself; (Romans 2:1)


If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.  (1John 1:9-10)

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.  (Matthew 6:14-15)

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness(Lamentations 3:22-23)


Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God… unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”  (John 3:3, 5-6)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life(John 3:16)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  (Ephesians 2:8-9)


And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth(Matthew 28:18)

(Jesus) am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death(Revelation 1:18)

On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven(Matthew 16:18-19)

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  (Luke 10:19)

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them.”  (Mark 16:17-18)

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.  (James 4:7-8)

And they overcame him (i.e. Satan) by the blood of the Lamb (i.e. Jesus) and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death(Revelation 12:11)
